Reading Books

Salam and Ahlan,

Yesterday I read an article. It's content impressed me too much. It was about reading book. How many book you can finish in one week or month or even a year? Do we ever think how many books we can read during our life?? Imagine if every 30 seconds one book is published.... Do we aware about this?.

Lets we see inside ourselves, how many books we have been reading since our childhood?? If we did forget it, lets recall how many books which related to our jobs or interests we read already?.

I feel sorry to see the books are waiting to be read. Reading books are compulsry in schools, colleges and universities since there were exams and tests. But, do reading books must be stopped when someone step out from these places ???.

Everyday, I read a book or more. But I can not finish them too fast. And it was my hobby to read novels and short stories. Also, I spent my time reading anything such articles and polemic discourses. However, these days my reading go more on my subject of study. Its an Arabic linguistic and translation.

To read is vital to my opinion. Even in Islamic teachings, reading is the begining to go for journey in our life...
